TL;DR: Top Trump administration officials Marco Rubio and Stephen Miller recently convened a 66-nation summit to declare “left-wing political terrorism” the greatest global menace on Earth. It’s a classic case of Orwellian projection. It would almost be funny if it weren’t so dangerous, because every single word of that warning describes the actual documented threat perfectly — they’ve just pointed the finger at the wrong house. The FBI and DHS have said for years, in writing, repeatedly, under both parties, that the greatest domestic terrorism threat to this country comes from white supremacists and anti-government militias. Not antifa. Not “the radical left.” The militias this administration pardoned. The seditionists this administration freed. And now the same men warning the world about imaginary left-wing terror networks are also trying to dismantle the one international court that could ever hold an American war criminal accountable. Every accusation is a confession, and these men are confessing constantly.
The Ministry of Mass Projection
If you want to know what a regime is actively doing—or planning to do—just listen to what they accuse their political opponents of doing.
Last Thursday, Stephen Miller and Secretary of State Marco Rubio hosted a “Ministerial on the Resurgence of Political Terrorism” at the State Department, drawing representatives from over sixty countries. But despite the broad title, the conference didn’t focus on international cartels, religious extremists, or armed syndicates. Instead, Rubio and Miller took the stage to announce that the world’s ultimate “enemies of civilization” are... left-wing activists, anti-capitalists, and environmentalists.
Miller told the room that “the leftist is fundamentally motivated by envy, by hatred, by jealousy,” that left-wing violence “always becomes a gulag,” and that anyone protesting the administration is, per his own words, an “enemy of civilization.” Rubio backed him up with a highlight reel of decades-old Cold War terror groups — the Red Brigades, the Weather Underground, Peru’s Shining Path — presented as though they were current threats, alongside a claim that 93% of terrorist attacks in the West between 1970 and 1980 came from the left. Ancient history dressed up as breaking news.
The Orwellian Flip:
Actual FBI Warning: Far-Right/White Supremacist Violence = Deadly Threat
Rubio/Miller Narrative: “Left-Wing Activism” = Enemies of Civilization
Rubio argued that counterterrorism policy has developed a “blind spot” toward violence from the political left. Miller even warned participating governments that civil liberties arguments used by political dissenters “must fall on deaf ears.”
Rubio argued that counterterrorism policy has developed a “blind spot” toward violence from the political left, while Miller railed that “the leftist is fundamentally motivated by envy, by hatred, by jealousy”. Miller even warned participating governments that civil liberties arguments used by political dissenters “must fall on deaf ears.”
It is an astonishing display of political gaslighting. When we look at actual facts, data, and decades of law enforcement intelligence, the reality is starkly different.
The FBI and the Department of Homeland Security have warned for years that the killer isn’t hiding in the progressive shadows—the killer is in the house. Government and independent analyses show that far-right extremist violence accounts for approximately 75% to 80% of all domestic terrorism deaths in the U.S. since 2001. The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and the University of Maryland have repeatedly documented that right-wing extremists, white supremacists, and anti-government militias have conducted the overwhelming majority of lethal political attacks and plots in modern American history. Not a partisan talking point. A formal threat assessment, reaffirmed year after year, by career law enforcement professionals, under Trump’s own first-term DOJ and Biden’s DOJ alike.
Left-wing extremist incidents — including anarchist and environmentalist activity — account for somewhere around 10% to 15% of incidents and under 5% of fatalities, and skew heavily toward property damage rather than violence against people.
The horror stories aren’t abstract: Compare the body counts if you want the plainest version of this: Charleston, 2015 — nine Black parishioners murdered by a white supremacist during Bible study. Pittsburgh, 2018 — eleven Jewish worshippers murdered at Tree of Life. El Paso, 2019 — twenty-three people murdered by a gunman motivated by anti-immigrant hatred. Oklahoma City, 1995 — 168 people, still the deadliest domestic terrorist attack in American history, courtesy of an anti-government extremist. The left’s side of that ledger, in the same multi-decade span, is arson at empty buildings and property destruction.
The killer, as the FBI has been telling anyone who’d listen for over a decade, was already in the house. It just wasn’t the house Miller and Rubio pointed everyone toward last week.
Embracing the Extremists
Instead of confronting the armed, radical right, the Trump administration has rolled out the red carpet for them, effectively converting domestic extremists into an unofficial paramilitary wing of the MAGA movement. I hope you haven’t forgotten that ICE recruited from many of these same organizations.
If you want to know who the FBI has actually been worried about, you don’t have to guess. Here’s the current roster, and I promise you these names will sound a lot more familiar than the Weather Underground.
The Proud Boys — a neo-fascist street-fighting group founded in 2016, built around “Western chauvinism” and violent confrontation with left-leaning protesters. The group fractured after January 6th, but members have since resurfaced at ICE-support rallies and anti-abortion events. Former chairman Enrique Tarrio — convicted of seditious conspiracy and handed the longest sentence of any January 6th defendant, 22 years — is a pardoned man today, and back in public activism.
The Oath Keepers — an anti-government militia built specifically around recruiting current and former military and law enforcement, organized around the conspiracy theory that the federal government is coming to strip citizens of their rights. Founder Stewart Rhodes was convicted of seditious conspiracy and sentenced to 18 years. He’s also free now, and has publicly announced plans to rebuild the Oath Keepers as an actual paramilitary force.
The Three Percenters — a decentralized militia network built on the historically false premise that only 3% of colonists fought the British, heavily focused on armed “Constitutional Sheriff” ideology and Second Amendment absolutism. Prone to splintering, but very much still armed and active at the local level.
The Boogaloo Boys — a loosely organized, internet-born anti-government movement explicitly built around accelerating a second civil war (the “boogaloo”), frequently overlapping with white-power ideology and, per the Southern Poverty Law Center, explicit calls for race war.
And then there’s the openly neo-Nazi tier, which somehow never makes it into a Rubio speech: Atomwaffen Division (also known as the National Socialist Order), an accelerationist group tied to at least five murders and multiple bomb plots, explicitly organized around inciting a race war and collapsing society to build a white ethnostate — designated a terrorist organization by Canada and the UK, though not by the country where it was founded. The Base, a similarly explicit white-supremacist accelerationist group built for the same purpose. Patriot Front, born directly out of the deadly 2017 Charlottesville rally, running an ongoing propaganda and marching campaign for a white ethnostate.
Where is This “Violent Left-Wing”?
Now, in the interest of actually being fair — because unlike the ministry, I’m not interested in cooking the numbers — let’s talk about the left. Genuinely violent left-wing organizations. When right-wing politicians scream about “Antifa,” they are deliberately deceiving the public. Antifa is not an organization. It has no headquarters, no leader, no budget, and no membership roster. It is an acronym for anti-fascist—a decentralized belief that fascism should be opposed. Ironically, anti-fascism was the primary ideology of the Allied soldiers who stormed the beaches of Normandy during World War II to defeat Adolf Hitler. Groups like the Animal Liberation Front and Earth Liberation Front have engaged in arson and property destruction aimed at buildings, not people. That’s the entire violent “left-wing organization” landscape by comparison: property crime against empty buildings versus murdered worshippers, murdered shoppers, and a domestic bombing that still holds the record for deadliest terrorist attack on American soil.
Removing the Referees (From Washington to The Hague)
Here’s where this stops being just hypocrisy and starts being a pattern with a purpose. While Rubio was warning the world about imaginary left-wing terror networks, his State Department also launched something this week that got a lot less press coverage: a formal campaign to “dismantle” the International Criminal Court(ICC) in The Hague.
Rubio claims the ICC is waging “a war” against the United States, warning that international law could expose American soldiers, border agents, and political officials to foreign judges. The State Department is actively threatening financial sanctions, travel bans, and visa revocations against ICC personnel, while pressuring U.S. allies to reject the court’s jurisdiction entirely.
This campaign follows the exact same authoritarian playbook Trump uses domestically: remove the referees.
If you fire the Inspector Generals, defund federal ethics watchdogs, intimidate investigative journalists, and dismantle international courts, then when you commit war crimes, financial fraud, or constitutional abuses, there are no cops or courts left to arrest you.
The ICC was created in the wake of WWII because humanity recognized a vital truth: without a rules-based international framework to punish war crimes, genocide, and aggressive conquest, the world devolves into total lawlessness. While the U.S. never officially ratified the Rome Statute, previous administrations supported the court whenever it prosecuted foreign warlords. But the moment international law threatens to hold our leaders accountable for military or border abuses, the Trump administration demands its total destruction.
Every Accusation Is a Confession
When Stephen Miller and Marco Rubio stand in front of international delegates and decry “political terrorism,” they aren’t trying to prevent violence—they are building a legal framework to criminalize political dissent, protect far-right militias, and shield their own regime from international accountability.
These men in power are frantically trying to turn the global and domestic order on its head because they are afraid. Men like this don’t fear violence in the abstract. They fear consequences. They fear referees. They know what they have done, they know the crimes they’ve committed, and they live in terror of the day when they might actually face justice. Like every classic bully, their greatest fear is that their victims will finally stand up and punch back.
This is the Orwellian trick, spelled out in full: accuse your opponents, loudly and repeatedly, of the exact thing you are doing, until the accusation itself becomes the story instead of your conduct. It’s not subtle once you see it, but it works precisely because most people don’t have the patience to check the FBI’s own threat assessments against the speech they just watched on TV. You do now. Use it.
If we sit this one out — if we let “resurgence of left-wing terrorism” become the accepted narrative instead of what the data actually says — we are handing these men exactly what they’re asking for: a public too exhausted and too misinformed to notice as the actual killers get pardoned, rearmed, and cheered on, while every institution that could ever hold power accountable gets quietly dismantled, brick by brick, court by court, inspector general by inspector general. It’s time to stop letting them manipulate the narrative. The killer isn’t at the gates—he’s in the house, holding the microphone, and trying to turn off the security cameras.
F*CK ICE. RELEASE ALL THE FILES!
Please like, share, and subscribe — because the killer’s already been identified, in writing, by the FBI, for years. The least we can do is read the report.
