Dems Warn of Trump Plans to Seize Ballots

Let’s be clear, this is not trolling, not a conspiracy theory, not a fever dream from a liberal Twitter account — a sitting president allegedly planning to physically seize ballots. The same man who tried to overturn an election with fake electors, pressured a Secretary of State to “find” 11,800 votes, and turned the DOJ into his personal revenge machine is now, reportedly, eyeing the ballots themselves. This isn’t a slippery slope — we slid off that slope two years ago and we’re in free fall.

This is what the dark money infrastructure was always built for. The Federalist Society judges, the Heritage Foundation election “integrity” projects, the billionaire-funded state legislatures that rewrote voting rules after 2020 — all of it was scaffolding for this moment. Genghis Don doesn’t need to win elections anymore if he can simply control what happens to the votes after they’re cast. The Epstein Class didn’t spend decades buying courts and legislatures for fun — they bought them for exactly this.

If you are not furious right now, check your pulse. The ballot is the last thing standing between you and a permanent corporate-authoritarian oligarchy that will strip-mine your future for quarterly earnings reports. They are coming for the vote itself. Call your representatives. Show up. Scream if you have to. Because if the ballots go, nothing else matters — not the courts, not the press, not this Substack.

Minister denies UK faces diesel shortage after Trump threatens to ban exports

Nothing says “special relationship” like your closest ally threatening to strangle your fuel supply unless you clap loud enough at his press conferences. General Lie-senhower, having already weaponized tariffs, NATO, and the dollar, has now apparently added diesel to his diplomatic toolkit — because nothing projects strength like holding Europe’s heating and trucking networks hostage to your mood swings. The UK government says everything’s fine. Governments always say everything’s fine right up until the shelves are empty.

Here’s what’s actually happening beneath the reassuring ministerial spin: Trump’s energy threats aren’t just random tantrums — they’re a coordinated strategy by the fossil fuel cartel that owns his administration. Big Oil spent hundreds of millions electing this man specifically to use American energy dominance as a geopolitical weapon, locking allies into dependency and punishing green energy transitions. Every “threatened export ban” is a gift to the LNG lobby and a knife in the throat of European energy independence. Follow the dark money — it leads straight from the Permian Basin to the Oval Office.

British voters should be livid, and so should every American who was told this administration was about “energy security.” This is energy blackmail dressed up as foreign policy, executed on behalf of executives who will never once worry about heating their homes. The planet is burning, the transition to clean energy is being sabotaged in real time, and some petroleum billionaire is celebrating with a very expensive scotch. You’re paying for both the scotch and the diesel. For a deeper dive, check out my article “America’s Addiction to Oil”.

The Pentagon’s Secret Budget

A trillion dollars. That number is truly impossible for ordinary people to understand. The official Pentagon budget — already the largest military budget in human history, larger than the next ten countries combined — is apparently just the cover charge. The Intercept’s reporting confirms what defense budget watchdogs have screamed into the void for years: there is a parallel financial universe inside the American war machine, hidden from Congress, hidden from auditors, hidden from you, and apparently hidden from basic accounting principles. The Pentagon has failed its audit — AGAIN — and nobody in power seems to think that’s worth more than a shrug.

This is the revolving door operating at its most obscene. Defense contractors like Raytheon, Lockheed, and Northrop Grumman write the requirements for the weapons systems they then get paid to build, overseen by former defense contractors who rotate back into the industry the moment their government service is done. The secret budget isn’t a bug — it’s the business model. Opacity is profit. Accountability is the enemy. And every dollar buried in a black program is a dollar that didn’t go to veterans’ healthcare, crumbling infrastructure, or the communities being hollowed out to feed the machine.

You are being robbed in the dark by people waving flags. The next time someone tells you there’s no money for schools, hospitals, or climate infrastructure, remember: there’s apparently unlimited money for unaudited weapons programs that can’t pass a basic financial review. Demand the books. Demand transparency. The Techno-Fascists love nothing more than a public too distracted or demoralized to notice they’re being robbed.

As the Pentagon Expands Across the Pacific, Guam Offers a Warning

Guam is what empire looks like up close — when you strip away the recruitment commercials and the flyovers and the solemn speeches about defending freedom. The island has been a U.S. military platform since 1898, its people denied full voting rights for a president who commands their lives, their land, and now, apparently, their groundwater. The military buildup accelerating across the Pacific — justified by the China threat, cheered by the defense lobby, rubber-stamped by a Congress drowning in contractor donations — is poisoning the soil and water of a community that never got to vote on any of it.

This is the colonial arithmetic the Pentagon doesn’t put in its press releases: military expansion requires sacrifice zones, and sacrifice zones are always populated by people with the least political power. Guam’s contamination crisis — PFAS chemicals from firefighting foam leaching into the aquifer that an entire population depends on — is not an accident. It is the predictable result of treating a populated island as a forward operating base rather than a home. The people of Guam have been raising alarms for years. The defense contractors kept cashing checks.

The Pacific military buildup is being sold to you as security. What it actually is: a multi-trillion dollar windfall for the weapons industry, a geopolitical provocation that raises the risk of the very conflict it claims to deter, and a slow-motion environmental catastrophe being inflicted on brown-skinned American nationals who can’t vote for the people destroying their home. If that doesn’t piss you off, the Epstein Class has already won. Pay attention to Guam — because what they’re doing there, they’ll do anywhere they think no one is watching.

Republicans Are Running Away From Trump’s Iran War as Midterms Near

Ah, and there it is — the most reliable spectacle in American politics: the Republican Profile in Courage, performed exclusively within eighteen weeks of an election. These are the same senators and representatives who voted for every blank check, who said nothing while Pickled Pete turned the Pentagon into a medieval crusade reenactment, who clapped like trained seals at every “Mission Accomplished” press conference. Now, with midterm math staring them in the face, they’ve suddenly rediscovered the constitutional concept of congressional war powers. How inspiring. How brave. How completely, cynically calculated.

Don’t mistake electoral panic for principle. The Republican retreat from the Iran war isn’t because they’ve had a moral awakening about the cost of bombing a nation of 90 million people on the basis of vibes and “divine mandate.” It’s because the polling is ugly, the caskets are coming home, and the oil markets are doing things that make their donor class nervous. The same dark money networks that funded the hawkish think tanks beating the drums for this war will now quietly fund the “responsible restraint” messaging. The war industry wins either way — they already got the contracts.

Here’s why this matters: Republicans running away from Trump’s war doesn’t end the war. It just means they want to survive politically while the war continues. Real accountability means hearings, investigations, and a full reckoning with how a reality television president with a crusader fetish dragged the country into another Middle Eastern catastrophe — with no authorization, no plan, and no exit. Don’t let them slither back to respectability without paying that price. Remember every single vote matters. November is coming.
